Vandals on the loose overnight in Quartu: a dozen cars damaged.
They had fun breaking the side mirrors of the cars. This incident is not an isolated case.Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
Vandals were unleashed last night in Quartu between Via San Benedetto and Viale Colombo. Around ten cars were damaged between Via Sarpi, Via Ariosto, and Viale Colombo. The thugs delighted in smashing the side mirrors, rendering them useless. The car owners themselves noticed the damage when they woke up that morning to take their bus to work or the grocery store, and instead had to rush straight to the body shop to have the mirrors fixed.
This isn't the first time that groups, presumably bored kids, have targeted parked cars. Some time ago, other cars were targeted in the Sant'Antonio area, and there's been continued damage, with broken windows and torn mirrors in the Quartello area. Added to this are the arson attacks on cars parked in front of homes. The latest occurred last Tuesday, when a car was set on fire on Via Nigra. The blaze also engulfed two other nearby cars and damaged two other vehicles parked on the opposite side of the street. But the list has been long since the beginning of the year, with more than a dozen cars set alight, including one on Via Polonia and a car and a scooter on Via Palestrina. And often these fires also damage the homes in front of which the cars are parked, plunging entire families into despair, as happened on Via Nigra, where flames devoured the front door and damaged the interior of a home.
