From Monday 27 September at the Arnas Brotzu in Cagliari, the administration of the third dose of anti-Covid vaccine for members of the most fragile categories begins, in compliance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.

It will first be the turn of the people afferent to Nephrology (kidney transplant and dialysis patients) and neurological patients suffering from multiple sclerosis, in charge of the Brotzu Neurology. For the latter category, Brotzu is the first hospital in Sardinia to have identified patients with multiple sclerosis to be administered the third dose of the Pzifer vaccine.

Afterwards, organ transplant recipients, cancer patients and other categories of frail people who are directly contacted by the departments will receive the additional dose.
