The 2025 edition of the Urban Fest – Flowerbed Festival , held on July 26 and 27 in Largo Guillot, in the Sant'Agostino neighborhood of Alghero, attracted a large turnout. Despite the festival's concurrence with other city events, the audience was enthusiastic, enlivening the neighborhood's squares. Organized by the Sant'Agostino Area Committee together with the Sant'Agostino CCN, the festival grows every year, bringing music, culture, educational opportunities, and socializing. Ample space was reserved for children, with games and inflatables, while food and drink stands encouraged residents and visitors to mingle. The demonstration of life-saving maneuvers by volunteers from Oltre il Cuore Alghero ODV was well received, as was the roundtable discussion on public green spaces, which featured speakers including Councilor Roberto Corbia and botanist Emmanuele Farris.

The live music was also a resounding success: on Saturday the 26th, Arkeos performed their "Dagli il via tour," and on Sunday the 27th, the Vasco Rossi Tribute Band – Come nelle Favole performed, which was greeted with applause. A raffle was also held, handing out shopping vouchers worth up to €700. Numerous institutional representatives were present: Councilor Ornella Piras, Councilor Raffaella Sanna, the president of the Alghero Foundation, Graziano Porcu, and Regional Councilor Valdo Di Nolfo. "We're delighted with how it went," commented Luca Pais (Sant'Agostino Area Committee) and Nicky Gesu (CCN President).

The neighborhood and its businesses are increasingly united. This event is just part of the work we carry out throughout the year." The festival is organized with the patronage of the Municipality of Alghero, the Alghero Foundation, Alghero Tourism, the Sardinia Region, the Porto Conte Park, and the Capo Caccia-Isola Piana Marine Protected Area.
