The Coast Guard raided Cagliari's wholesale fish market before dawn: three businessmen were caught in the net due to commercial irregularities.

The first seizure was made against a transporter and the owner of a stall: officers from the Maritime Directorate located 70 kilos of fish products that lacked traceability documentation. The two were also fined a total of €3,000.

Subsequently, approximately 30 kilos of undeclared red shrimp were discovered inside the market upon landing by a fishing vessel. This discovery led to the imposition of a €2,000 fine on the vessel's captain.

The municipal police and the Carabinieri also participated in the control activities.
