A man and a woman were admitted to two different hospitals after an accident on provincial road 8, between Elmas and Sestu .

The two were driving their cars when, for reasons currently under investigation, they collided: emergency services arrived immediately, and the injured were taken to Brotzu Hospital and the Policlinico Hospital with critical condition.

The Sestu local police arrived on the scene and conducted the required investigations. The two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when the collision occurred, with the drivers suffering the worst of the collision.
