The man, who was returning from a hunting trip, had a heated argument with the farmer and the reason for the dispute was the truck driver's dog, which was drinking from a water tank located inside the farmer's property . The farmer, annoyed by the presence of the animal, reacted by hitting it with a stick . At that point, the dog's owner raised his rifle and shot the farmer, wounding him .

The police, after having gathered all the necessary information and having carried out the necessary investigations, proceeded to seize the weapon used, a 12-gauge shotgun legally held. The man was then arrested on charges of attempted murder and, by order of the Public Prosecutor, was placed under house arrest in his home, where he will remain pending the decisions of the Judicial Authority.
