«Once again, self-styled Propal protesters are taking advantage of a noble cause to rape our city and attack anyone who doesn't think like them».
Paolo Truzzu, the former mayor of Cagliari and current group leader of the Brothers of Italy party in the regional council, commented on two recent incidents during the pro-Palestine demonstrations in the capital.
"The so-called pacifists," he attacks, "have missed no opportunity to vandalize the Bastion," on whose walls a Palestinian flag has been painted, "but also a FdI headquarters and the political office of a member of parliament, Salvatore Deidda."
These events, Truzzu denounces, "are occurring amidst the general silence of the center-left forces. But then they want to explain and teach us who the true democrats are. Poor Fatherland."
