A Tramatza farmer was thrown from his horse on Tuesday evening and dragged for several meters. The sixty-year-old is now hospitalized in Sassari in a pharmacological coma, constantly monitored by health workers.

The accident happened on the family farm. According to initial findings, Ernesto Manca was riding his horse on his own land. Everything seemed normal when the unexpected happened: a sudden leap, the sixty-year-old was thrown off and thrown forward. He was then dragged for several meters. It seems that Manca initially managed to get up on his own, then he collapsed and was found injured by his family. Immediately rescued, after initial treatment at San Martino in Oristano, the doctors decided to transfer him to the hospital in Sassari.

The news of the accident on the farm quickly spread throughout the small town, where the Manca family is well known and respected by everyone. "We are very shocked by what happened," commented Mayor Sebastiana Moro. "Now all we can do is pray and hope that Ernesto recovers as soon as possible."
