His name was Alessandro Pisano, 24 years old, he was from Villamar, the young victim of the terrible accident that took place this afternoon on Provincial Road 2, between Villamassargia and Carbonia, near the hamlet of Tani.

The young man was driving his white Audi A1, recently acquired thanks to his work in a small construction company of his own, which collided head-on into a van traveling in the opposite direction. The impact was devastating.

His fiancée Ilaria Scamonati was traveling with the twenty-four year old: the young woman was transferred to Brotzu by air ambulance, her conditions are serious.

Aboard the van were a man and his three daughters aged 9, 5 and 3. The little ones were all taken to Brortzu: they are stable, only one reported the suspected fracture of the collarbone. The conditions of the father are more worrying: he is hospitalized in the Polyclinic with fractures to the femur and pelvis.

"Alessandro was a good boy, a worker," says the mayor of Villamar Gian Luca Atzeni, who is waiting for an official reconstruction of the dynamics of the fatal accident. Certainly one of the two vehicles, in the rain, invaded the lane of the other. And yet another cross was planted on Provincial Road 2.
