Tragedy in the waters of Portoscuso, the dead diver is a 73 year old from Bacu Abis

Sergio Medas , 73 years old from Bacu Abis , is the man who died this morning during an underwater fishing trip in the waters of Portoscuso.

The tragedy occurred in front of the Spaniards' Bay , where the body was seen floating by swimmers present on the beach, who carried it to shore and alerted the emergency services.

The man, most likely taken ill, was wearing a wetsuit and was equipped with a signal buoy .

The 118 doctors who arrived on site could not help but confirm his death. The Portoscuso Coast Guard is investigating the case.
