Traces of blood on board the Toyota Yaris used by Francesca Deidda , the 42-year-old who disappeared from San Sperate on May 10th and was found lifeless in a bag in the countryside between Sinnai and San Vito.
The Cagliari RIS found them during checks on board the vehicle which, after the woman's disappearance, was sold by Igor Sollai .
The Ris technicians began their investigations at 9am, with the lawyer Gianfranco Piscitelli also present, representing Andrea Deidda, Francesca's brother. The investigations concluded just before 4pm.
Traces of blood were reportedly found on the back seat. Once other elements have also been found , the blood will be analyzed to establish who it belongs to.
Her husband, Igor Sollai, 43, is currently in prison on charges of voluntary homicide and concealment of a corpse. Just today the request to mitigate the precautionary measure was rejected by the Review . Sollai, after the disappearance of Francesca Deidda, had put the car up for sale and had told the buyer to "degrease it well" , particularly in the rear part where the traces of blood were found.
Tomorrow the Ris specialists will enter the couple's house in via Monastir in San Sperate and will examine the entire house under the microscope, with a special eye on the sofa that Sollai had put up for sale . A consultant of the lawyer Piscitelli, the criminologist Simona Ledda appointed by Roberta Bruzzone, who is unable to be on the island, will also participate in the investigations.
