The cyclist who yesterday got lost in the Sini countryside was tracked down and rescued.

The 70-year-old had left his car in Gonnosnò to start a sporting excursion, then he was no longer able to find the main road wandering for three hours before asking for help on the toll-free number 1515 of the Forestry and Environmental Supervision Corps.

After about an hour it was located in the locality of “Cascata Su Strumpu”, a particularly inaccessible area, by the Ales patrol. Refreshed, the man was taken back to his car. No consequences for him, just a great scare.
