Tortolì, short circuit in the electrical system: tank on fire

Moments of fear in via Oristano, in Tortolì , due to a fire that engulfed a plastic tank on a balcony .

On the spot, around 12.30 today, the firefighters of the city detachment intervened and reclaimed the area, making it safe. At the origin of the episode, according to an initial reconstruction, there would be a short circuit in the electrical system that feeds the water tank autoclave .

The electrical overheating ignited flames which burned much of the tank , rendering it unserviceable.

In via Oristano, between via Vittorio Emanuele and the very central via Monsignor Virgilio, a 118 ambulance had also arrived as a precaution, but no medical intervention was necessary.
