Three weeks with float parades, music and artistic workshops for the Sassari Carnival
There are over 25 events proposed by the associations to the Municipality of Sassari
The flagship event of the Sassari Carnival will be the "Masquerade" Grand Ball on Shrove Tuesday, 13 February, which will take place in Piazza d'Italia from 6pm. A full-bodied program presented this morning to the Municipality of Sassari which collected and sponsored the proposals more interesting. There are over 25 events scheduled from tomorrow until February 18th, almost all of them in the historic centre.
Traveling events, parades and allegorical floats, music, artistic workshops and entertainment, without forgetting the opportunities to taste the typical carnival dishes.
Of note is the parade of allegorical carnival floats which will be offered for three days (8, 13 and 17 February) always starting at 9.30 and traveling along the streets of the Monte Rosello Alto district.
The event proposed by the Italian association of Anglo Arab Horse Owners and Breeders is unique and original: the horseback piñata which will be held at the Pinna racecourse on Sunday 18 February from 10am.
