Yesterday evening the Carabinieri reported at large a 63-year-old unemployed man , resident in Sanluri , held responsible for the crimes of mistreatment in the family and threats .
The alarm was raised with a call to 112 from the suspect's sister, a 37-year-old woman , who reported yet another episode of violence inside the family home.
Once on site, the military found that the 63-year-old had been responsible for a series of threats and harassment against his cohabiting father, an 88-year-old disabled pensioner , for approximately four months, generating a climate of profound anxiety and fear for the latter.
During the operation, the Carabinieri also seized two hunting rifles – a Franchi model Alcione 12-gauge and a Fias model Bigrillo 12-gauge – as well as 100 shot cartridges, 24 slug cartridges and a hunting gun license, all of which were regularly held but taken away as a precaution, to protect the victim.
By order of the Public Prosecutor on duty , the man was subjected, as a matter of urgency, to the precautionary measure of removal from the family home , in order to safeguard the safety of his elderly father.
