They were dealing cocaine, heroin and methadone: five drug traffickers arrested in Oristano

They managed a major traffic of cocaine, heroin, methadone and marijuana . For this reason the State Police of Oristano, by order of the local Public Prosecutor's Office, arrested five people involved in a major drug dealing activity.

The investigation activity coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Oristano and conducted by the men of the Flying Squad of the Police Headquarters, has allowed the application of precautionary measures against people residing in the municipalities of Terralba, San Nicolò d'Arcidano (OR) and Villasor (CA), all responsible, in various capacities, of an intense drug dealing activity. The places where the drugs were kept, we are talking about several kilos of narcotics, were identified thanks to numerous stakeouts and shadowing.

The discovery triggered a series of seizures that then allowed, in a short time, to reconstruct the entire drug supply chain. It was ascertained that the group was involved in marketing various narcotic substances, managing to satisfy the needs of the target market with cocaine , heroin, marijuana and methadone, substances that were illegally held and sold to hundreds of customers.

In particular, two drug dealing episodes have attracted particular interest. The first dates back to December 2023, when a supply of three kilograms of cocaine was organised for a buyer in Simaxis (OR), which ended with a violent episode: the buyer was injured by a firearm in the countryside of Simaxis. The operation led to the discovery of one kilogram of cocaine.

The second episode occurred in February 2024, when the Mobile Squad agents intercepted a van of the company "Soro Traslochi", finding over a kilogram of cocaine on board, with the consequent arrest of the driver in flagrante delicto.

One of the arrested, during the investigation, revealed that he had used heroin for the first time as a minor, when the substance was sold to him by an uncle. The addiction to the drug later pushed him to sell it to support his personal consumption.
