Accused of being responsible for some thefts that took place in the Carbonia markets, a 44-year-old clerk in a supermarket was arrested by the carabinieri.

The man, yesterday evening, was aboard his car and, having finished his work, he was returning home when he ran into a military checkpoint. Following a search, he was found in possession of alimony of various kinds and 310 euros in cash, deemed to be the proceeds of the theft just completed in the market.

The 44-year-old was placed under house arrest and today will be submitted to the hearing for direct.
