The teachers for Sardinian schools come from Sicily and Calabria

In the Sardinia of the unemployed, including graduates "on the go", there are 170 professorships that will be assigned to teachers from other regions : above all from Calabria, Sicily and Campania.

«Like fifty years ago», Antonio Deiara, a music teacher from Sassari less than ten days after retirement, complains: «History repeats itself». Deiara has it (she wrote it on the Orizzontescuola website) with the "fast call" «for the recruitment of teachers from other regions to be placed in the schools of the four Sardinian provinces, and which has produced a bloodbath for teachers and Sardinian professors of various subjects», says Deiana.

Import teachers

More than seventy chairs of Art, Italian, Music, Foreign Languages, Musical Instruments, etc. and more than a hundred of Support in Sardinia have crossed the sea. Indeed, non-Sardinian teachers will cross the sea to teach here. It was not avoidable, explains the director of the regional school office: «There are rules and they must be applied. The "fast call" in other regions», Francesco Feliziani articulates, «was made because, in the Sardinian rankings, the figures that the Sardinian school system needs now are missing. And so we had to look for them outside the island».
