The woman was frightened, terrified by constant threats and signs of hostility reaching her at her home in a former IACP building in Olbia. Rosa Bechere had been living alone since her husband, Davide Iannelli, was transferred to prison on charges of murdering his rival Tony Cozzolino , a crime for which he was sentenced to life in prison.

 

 

Today, after months of silence, the Rosa Bechere case was again heard by a judge in the Tempio Tribunal. The new development is that the Sassari Prosecutor's Office is handling the matter, with a request to produce investigative documents that could soon lead to a new investigation . Rosa Bechere's family, represented by lawyers Edoardo Morette, Fabiano Baldinu, Cristina and Abele Cherchi, are opposing the dismissal of the investigation into an Olbia couple accused of voluntary manslaughter and concealment of a corpse . The two defendants, defended by criminal lawyers Giampaolo Murrighile and Angelo Merlini, continue to maintain their innocence, and to date, at least according to the prosecutors' conclusions, no evidence against them has been found. But at this point, the case has been handed over to the magistrates of the Sassari Prosecutor's Office.
