Troubled waters today in the Gallura social and health assembly, a large group of mayors withdrew from speaking in protest. Today's session of the assembly was convened in Olbia, in the auditorium of the Archaeological Museum, to discuss the comatose state of Gallura's healthcare system. The president of the territorial body is the mayor of Arzachena, Roberto Ragnedda.
The appointment was highly anticipated because the first citizens of the North East, Olbia in the lead, had the opportunity to meet directly with the regional health councilor, Armando Bartolazzi, connected via videoconference. And, in fact, the mayor of Olbia, Settimo Nizzi, his colleague from Santa Teresa, Nadia Matta and other administrators had the opportunity to denounce the dramatic condition of the local health system. Councilor Armando Bartolazzi apologized to his interlocutors during the session and informed the assembly of the need to interrupt the connection due to urgent commitments.
Representing the Region and the ASL was the general director of Olbia, Marcello Acciaro. The mayors of Alta Gallura, who were waiting their turn to speak, were annoyed and gave up speaking in protest. The mayor of Tempio, Gianni Addis: «We had an absolute need to speak to the regional councilor, given that Bartolazzi was no longer there, we gave up. We will make known what we have to say tomorrow at a press conference called in Tempio."
