The first suspects appear to be in the events that occurred in the early hours of August 14 on a beach in Porto Istana, on the Olbia coast. The brutal beating of four people, three men and a woman , occurred after a beach club party organized by the "Il biscotto della fortuna" collective, a queer music group founded in 2024 and active throughout Europe. The Carabinieri and the State Police are investigating the incident, and a minor was interviewed for hours at the Olbia police station. The boy is believed to have played a key role in the homophobic attack.

Yesterday, the Carabinieri of the Olbia territorial unit received a detailed complaint filed by the collective's founder, Angelo Ratti, the person who suffered the worst . Ratti stated: " I suffered a violent blow to the head and can no longer hear in my left ear . My left eye is also affected. In the next few hours, I will undergo further specialist medical tests. Tomorrow, I will return to the Carabinieri station in Olbia to supplement the initial complaint with the threatening chats and audio recordings I'm receiving. Of course, I also submitted the first medical certificates. Together with my lawyer, Franca Fenu, I will be in Tempio tomorrow to meet with the prosecutor's office."

The complaint filed yesterday describes a premeditated homophobic attack that allegedly involved dozens of people . Ratti was pinned to the ground and violently struck on the head. While he was being beaten (including by individuals wielding rocks), several people (some very young) allegedly insulted Ratti and his collaborators with homophobic epithets.

According to the complaint, several people began insulting the Milanese collective during the evening of August 13th. After the performance, Ratti was approached and beaten. He managed to escape, but when approached a second time, he was attacked again, along with three people who tried to defend him.
