Torre Grande is gearing up for the most anticipated evening of the Oristano September, but those heading to the Area Grandi Eventi on Thursday will have to expect some changes to the normal traffic flow and specific access rules. The regulations will go into effect this afternoon, with gates opening for the public at 8:00 PM and The Kolors' concert starting at 10:00 PM.

The main traffic changes will take effect at 2:00 PM. Via Cristoforo Colombo, from the entrance to the area to the intersection with Via dei Pescatori, and Via Magellano will be affected by a traffic and parking ban. The parking ban, with vehicles towed away, will also affect sections of Via Stella Maris, the road towards Via Duca degli Abruzzi, and Via Francesco Barracciu. Traffic will be diverted to nearby streets not affected by the measures.

For those arriving from Oristano, the alternative to driving is the shuttle: it runs every 15 minutes from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM, while the return service from Torre Grande will depart at 11:30 PM, after the concert. Tickets cost one euro each way.

Access restrictions will also come into effect from 6:00 PM. Glass bottles, cans, or plastic bottles, including those containing water or soft drinks, will not be permitted. The sale of beverages in these containers and spirits with an alcohol content of over 21% is also prohibited.

Be careful with blades too: the ordinance prohibits the carrying and sale of folding knives, switchblades, spring knives, balisongs, daggers, bayonets, and other blades intended to harm a person.

During the same time slot, the entire Torre Grande area is prohibited from setting off or launching fireworks, firecrackers, firecrackers, rockets, and other pyrotechnic devices. This measure will remain in effect until the end of the event and applies to both public and private areas where there is a safety or fire risk. Violations are subject to fines ranging from €25 to €500.
