Modified the precautionary measure of house arrest for Marco Pili, the collaborator of the regional councilor of the Misto group Valerio De Giorgi arrested in recent days. He will no longer be confined but will have to report to the Finance Police every day at 5 pm.

As requested by the defenders of Pili - Renato Chiesa and Pierandrea Setzu - their client obtained the revocation of the provision by virtue of the fact that Pili left the position "in command" to the Regional Council and returned to the Port Authority of Cagliari, of which he is dependent. According to the judge, the end of the collaborator's proximity to De Giorgi eliminates the risk of the crime being repeated.

The accusation for the two is of attempted fraud in the context of an investigation that sees the director also under investigation for corruption, together with the builder Corrado Deiana - also under house arrest - and of an exchange vote. For the prosecutor Giangiacomo Pilia, they would have tried to have a regional contribution of 650 thousand euros to the Pro Loco City of Cagliari, founded and controlled - again according to the position of the prosecution - directly by the politician through relatives and people very close to him.

The corruption that is instead challenged in De Giorgi and Deiana concerns an amendment to the house plan which, for the Prosecutor's Office, would have been rewarded with four apartments given to the regional councilor.
