For now Igor Sollai remains in prison in Uta. Yesterday the Court of Review listened to the arguments of the defense lawyers who requested for the 43-year-old lorry driver (accused of killing his wife Francesca Deidda) a less restrictive measure of freedom than prison, i.e. house arrest with an electronic bracelet for follow its movements from a distance.

The judge also paid attention to the reply of the deputy prosecutor Marco Cocco, two hours in one breath to reiterate what was already written in the request for Sollai's arrest, i.e. that in his opinion there are serious indications of guilt.

The review court reserved its decision on Sollai's possible release, expected today or tomorrow. Sollai's defense lawyers, Carlo Demurtas and Laura Pirarba, filed a brief and argued that there is no danger of escape, repetition of the crime or tampering with evidence: hence the request for house arrest for their client.

Today the Ris carabinieri will examine Francesca's car, a Yaris which her husband had sold after her disappearance (along with a sofa from the house). Tomorrow there will be an inspection of the house in San Sperate by the police from the scientific investigations department.
