The third edition of the Nautic Event Sardegna, the event organized by Assonautica Nord Sardegna which took place from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th in the shadow of the Aragonese Tower in Porto Torres, ended with great public success.

The 2024 edition of the Nautic Event Sardinia was characterized by a program full of events dedicated to the world of boating, its ports, its marinas and its landing places. But more generally to the entire tourism system which is inextricably intertwined with pleasure boating. Hence a series of meetings and debates for three intense days, characterized by analyses, perspectives and solutions. To give new life to a supply chain that deserves more space and on which we can focus, as in Porto Torres, to support economic development.

On the third and final day, the talk featured the directors of the national parks of La Maddalena and Asinara, Giulio Plastina and Vittorio Gazale, the directors of the marine protected areas of Capotesta and Tavolara, Yuri Donno and Lorenzo Lutzoni, together with the park commissioner Asinara, Giovanni Cubeddu. They illustrated the peculiarities of the individual parks and the spaces and prospects for pleasure boating. Also at the center of the meeting is fishing in marine protected areas.

The president of the North Sardinia Flag, Benedetto Sechi, after the approval of the strategic plan to promote fishing and overcome the most serious critical issues affecting the sector, launches the bill to regulate recreational and sport fishing such as hunting. «Due to the serious impact that this type of fishing causes on thousands of professional fishermen, due to the enormous removal of fish resources, creating damage to commercial fishing», Sechi specified.

Also on the stage of the Nautic Event was the deputy mayor Simona Fois, and the mayors of the area. The Nautic Event Sardinia offered a rich succession of collateral events, such as conferences, workshops, exhibitions and shows in the evenings organized by the Salude&trigu chamber program. An opportunity that all sea enthusiasts took to deepen their knowledge and at the same time to live a unique experience together with many of the events scheduled not only in the summer months but also in low season periods. Another success achieved thanks to the collaboration of the organizers of the scheduled events. «We are very satisfied with the success of this edition of the Nautic Event», declared the president of Assonautica Nord Sardegna, Giovanni Conoci. «We had a large influx of public and positive feedback from all those who approached our event dedicated not only to boating, but more generally to the entire territory promoted from a tourism perspective. This confirms to us that the Nautic Event is an important event for the promotion of boating associated with hospitality, capable of involving the whole of Sardinia."

The Nautic Event Sardinia 2024 - which had the sailor Andrea Mura as its testimonial , followed closely by the public as well as his exploits - confirmed itself as an event of great attraction like last year in Alghero, helping to promote sailing in Sardinia in a context broader growth and consolidation of the tourist offer. On a journey that doesn't end here. The appointment at this point is for the next edition which promises to be even richer in ideas, contents and events.
Nautic Event Sardinia 2024 is a territorial marketing action organized by Assonautica nord Sardegna which can count on the concrete support of the Sassari Chamber of Commerce with the Salude&Trigu program. For an action which saw the collaboration of the Municipality of Porto Torres, together with the Provincial Industrial Consortium of Sassari, Asinara Park, the Harbor Office of Porto Torres and the Sardinia Sea Port System Authority, in addition to the twelve municipalities of Coros which have promoted culture, traditions and food and wine.
