He did everything to stop his dog and even succeeded, but, according to prosecutor Franca Cabiddu, the damage had already been done and now the cabaret artist Giuseppe Masia is before the Justice of the Peace of Olbia for the excesses of his Rhodesian Ridgeback .

Masia, defended by the lawyer Nicoletta Mani, is accused of causing injury. The events occurred, according to the indictment, on 21 December 2022 on the beach of Portisco, in Olbia. Prosecutor Franca Cabiddu accuses the cabaret artist of not having adequately looked after his dog. The alleged omission would have caused a situation that ended with medical treatment in the emergency room for a woman, Linda Lindiri, from San Pantaleo. The injuries suffered by the alleged victim (civil party in the trial, assisted by the lawyer Fausto Depperu) were apparently caused by the Rhodesian.

It was Lindiri herself who recounted the episode at the end of 2022 before the Justice of the Peace Emilio Floris. The alleged victim said she had been knocked over by Masia's dog and had been bitten on the hand, the Rhodesian had aimed to her little dog and she did everything to defend him. The woman also confirmed that the cabaret artist intervened to block her Rhodesian in a very determined manner, taking the dog away from him. «Masia – declared the victim – then walked away telling me that he would come back to help me, but he never showed up again». A version of events that the defense disputes. However, there would be videos from a video surveillance system in the documents that would have been acquired by the Olbia Carabinieri.

For Masia there is a request for dismissal (the offended person objected) for a previous episode, it talks about the attack of a cat by her dog. Events that occurred in Olbia and for which the Tempio Prosecutor's Office believes it should not proceed.
