The bridge on the 131 near Nuraminis was demolished during the night.
The closure of the overpass on Provincial Road 54 has caused numerous inconveniences to motorists who are heading from Serramanna towards Carlo Felice. Confusion has been created by the unclear signs and the few alternatives to the provincial road 54 Serramanna-Nuraminis, the last stretch of which was closed yesterday by an order of the Province of South Sardinia, resulting in long queues entering and exiting.

«I suggest all Serramanna motorists to use the provincial road 55 Serramanna-Serrenti and the Monastir junction in the direction of Villasor to reach Serramanna, as well as to reach the locations north or south of the 131», Mayor Gabriele Littera tried to help his fellow citizens in a post on Facebook.

The demolition works of the overpass will make the road unusable until the reconstruction works of the overpass are completed in several months. In the meantime, alternative solutions are being sought that can plug the situation until the end of the operations. Mayor Littera has acknowledged the efforts of the Municipality of Nuraminis "to make a stretch of municipal road, via Villasor, currently not asphalted and which will be able to somehow fulfill the task of managing part of the traffic flow that until now has passed over the overpass in the direction of Serramanna-Nuraminis".
