The young man who was involved in a hunting accident in Tempio Pausania yesterday was admitted to the Giovanni Paolo II Hospital in Olbia. According to the Forestry Corps' investigation, the young man was struck in the foot by an accidental shot from his rifle.

The accident occurred in a locality in the Gallura area, and officers from the Inspectorate and the Forestry Corps Station intervened on the scene.

The victim was apparently confronted by a large, particularly aggressive wild boar. The young hunter fell, and the bullet fired from his rifle struck him in the foot.
