A large assembly was held in Uta to discuss the impact of the announced imminent arrival of 92 inmates in the 41 Bis (maximum security) regime at the Ettore Scalas prison.

Everyone gathered on December 1st at the Town Hall, at the instigation of the administration led by Mayor Giacomo Porcu.

The event, open to all citizens, will feature speakers including the President of the Region, Alessandra Todde; the President of the Regional Council, Piero Comandini; the Attorney General of the Republic at the Cagliari Court of Appeal, Luigi Patronaggio; the President of the Cagliari Supervisory Court, Maria Cristina Ornano; the President of the Cagliari Bar Association, Matteo Pinna; the Regional Guarantor for Persons Subject to Restrictive Measures, Cinzia Irene Libera Testa; and the former Deputy Police Commissioner, Antonello Caria.

Also attending will be deputies and senators elected in Sardinian constituencies, regional councilors, and, representing the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, Mayor Massimo Zedda, along with other mayors.
