Terrible frontal on the Pedemontana: six injured, two seriously

Terrible head-on crash around 5pm on the Pedemontana, the provincial road 2 that cuts through the Sulcis.

An Audi A1 and a van collide at the height of the Tani hamlet, between Villamassargia and Barbusi. The balance speaks of six people involved, all classified in red code by the rescuers, given the frightening dynamics, but the seriously injured would be two.

Four ambulances rushed to the scene and the Areus helicopter was also activated, which transported a girl to Brotzu.

The findings are by the Carabinieri of the Carbonia mobile radio. The wounded were pulled from the wreckage by firefighters. The road was closed in the section affected by the accident.
