Three people were seriously injured in a terrible accident that occurred this morning around 11am in Capoterra, on the SS 195 near La Maddalena beach .

The crash involved two fuel trucks (luckily with empty tankers) and a 9-seater minibus carrying two children and an adult.

Five people were injured. Three adults were taken to hospital with red code, the conditions of the two children were more reassuring, who were assigned yellow and green codes .

The dynamics of the accident are yet to be clarified: the minibus was practically crushed between the two articulated trucks , most likely it hit one of them and was hit in turn by the heavy vehicle travelling behind it.

Two teams of firefighters from Pula and Cagliari intervened on site with the support of a crane and a tanker. The firefighters took care of securing the area, freeing the van stuck between the two trucks and extracting the various people involved from the wreckage to entrust them to the care of the 118 personnel, who intervened with two ambulances and a helicopter .

The police were also on site to carry out surveys aimed at reconstructing the exact dynamics of the crash.
