Anti-fraud operation in a shop in Tempio Pausania by the personnel of the Annona and Commerce Unit of the Local Police of Tempio Pausania and the Customs Officials of Sassari and the operational section of La Maddalena-Santa Teresa Gallura.

The anti-fraud activity led to the seizure of a hundred products, including toys that violated EU safety standards and diving masks without the required CE marking and the related warnings or instructions in Italian.

Hence the administrative seizure of the goods and two fines that can reach up to 18,000 euros for having placed products that do not comply with safety standards on the market on the national territory.

The operation was completed in application of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Sardinia Territorial Directorate of the Customs and Monopolies Agency and the Municipality of Tempio Pausania, aimed at ascertaining violations relating to counterfeiting, Made in Italy and product safety.
