Ascertained dynamics for the accident that in the very early afternoon cost the life of the firefighter of Tempio, Roberto Spano, 56 years old.
The man, according to the reconstruction of the Carabinieri, after an overtaking he lost control of his Yamaha 850 in one of the hairpin bends of the Oschiri Temple (a few kilometers from the Gallura town) and ended up against a guardrail violently hitting his head. Not even the helmet prevented the trauma from fatal outcomes.
It is not excluded that on the side of the road the bike lost grip due to a layer of sand. The public prosecutor's office has already given the go-ahead for the body to be returned to the victim's family. In any case, the usual checks on Spano's motorcycle will be carried out.
The man was well known and esteemed in Tempio and in the workplace , he had participated in various missions of the Civil Protection. He leaves behind his wife and four children.
