There is an investigative hypothesis, yet to be verified, for the file opened by the Tempio Pausania Prosecutor's Office into the suicide of Maddalena student Luigi Nativi.
According to reports, judicial police personnel, coordinated by prosecutor Noemi Mancini, are investigating whether the 18-year-old was contacted by anyone and subjected to pressure in connection with an incident involving a group of young people, currently under investigation.
This incident had no consequences and the boy has not been implicated in any way. It will be verified whether the messages received by the Maddalena student refer to a specific incident.
An autopsy was performed today, and the body was returned to the young man's family. Lawyers Roberto Sirena and Alessio Bittu are conducting the investigation on behalf of Luigi Nativi's closest relatives.
The funeral will be held tomorrow, and the mayor of La Maddalena, Fabio Lai, has declared a day of mourning. "Interpreting the unanimous sentiment of sympathy and condolences expressed by the citizens," the municipal administration's official website states, "the mayor feels it is his duty to express the entire community's closeness and solidarity with the family and all those who shared moments of life, friendship, and affection with Luigi."
