The disturbance arriving from the Atlantic was announced . For tomorrow, Thursday 3 October, the Civil Protection also arrives, with a yellow alert that affects all of northern Sardinia and western Sardinia up to Teulada.

Strong thunderstorms are expected, although the location – at the moment – is difficult to predict. The areas not affected, however, are Baronia, Sarrabus and Cagliaritano, where any phenomena should be of lesser intensity.

Despite this bulletin issued by the headquarters in via Biasi, a warning has arrived from the Municipality of Cagliari: the Administration "invites citizens, from 00.00 to 23.59, to exercise maximum caution especially in the Pirri area. The Civil Protection service has also made known the rules of conduct that concern the inhabitants of the Municipality of Pirri, in order to avoid possible situations of danger for public safety. According to the notice, the note continues, "it is advisable to avoid parking in the streets: Balilla (from Piazza Italia to via Dandolo) and side streets, Italia, Dolianova, Sinnai, Settimo, Mara, Donori, Santorre Di Santarosa, Confalonieri and Ampere. Cars parked in the aforementioned streets can be moved to the parking lot of the Terramaini swimming pool in via Pisano".

There is certainly a sharp drop in temperatures, which will fall below the seasonal average, with the arrival of the mistral.
