After months of waiting and protests, work has begun on Via Turati in Quartu to clear the flowerbeds and prune the trees along the road leading to the ASL outpatient clinic, a road traveled by hundreds of patients every day.
Over time, the small garden had been transformed into a landfill, filled with garbage and excrement. It also contained road signs thrown down after some renovations and removed last week. Green Land workers are carrying out the work on behalf of the clinic responsible for the space, which is located in a public area and was granted permission by the municipality. Once the cleanup is complete, the space will be fenced off and gravelled. The side facing Viale Marconi will also be gravelled. On Via Turati, the tree that was blocking the sidewalk will also be thinned out. Fortunately, the tree is in good condition and will not need to be cut down. It will remain in place, providing shade and coolness during the summer months.
