A 30-year-old man, Samuele Marras, was sentenced to ten months in prison for harassment and persecutory acts against his ex-partner.
The sentence is by the judge of Tempio, Maria Elena Lai. The events occurred until March 2023, when the alleged stalker was arrested in Olbia by the Carabinieri. The prosecutor had asked for two years in prison.
Marras would have followed his ex-partner, monitoring her movements and interactions. Furthermore, he was also accused of having damaged the house and car of the victim (civil party in the trial and assisted by the lawyer Antonello Desini). Marras' defenders, Giuseppe Mocci and Carlo De Cesaro, obtained the immediate release of their client. The man remained in prison from March 2023 until today, therefore six months longer than the sentence imposed.
