Three more days of activity before the closure of the Noli me tollere senior center in Sorso. It was the judicial administrator of the facility who communicated this to the relatives of the 28 elderly people still present after the hospice seizure order dated 17 August this year.

Following an inspection by the Nas, both the coordinator and an OSS had been removed from the Noli with two interdictory measures. The investigations, also carried out with telephone and environmental interceptions, had revealed an alleged scenario of insults, beatings and forced sedation against the centre's guests. At first the center was entrusted to the pro-tempore management of the mayor Fabrizio Demelas before the judicial administrator Alberto Ceresa took over on 25 September when there were still 48 guests.

Starting from 23 October, various requests were made to family members to transfer their loved ones from the facility as it was "unsuitable", the note writes, "to host and guarantee adequate assistance to guests". Then pointing out that the suspension decided by the judge "was intended until all guests were discharged", Ceresa recalls how the company is "burdened by debt". For all these reasons «he announces that the activity of Noli me tollere will be suspended starting from December 18th at 8pm».
