Green light for the works to upgrade the sewage system on the Sorso coast.
An impressive intervention , approved by Egas, which provides for an allocation of 13 million euros , of which 7.3 financed thanks to Pnrr funds and 5.6 paid by the institution, from the 2004-2006 POT.
The works that will be carried out in Sorso, which can be immediately contracted out by the sole manager, Abbanoa, are aimed at collecting wastewater from the tourist settlements along the Platamona coast and therefore reducing any disruptions to the small purification plants , currently installed immediately close to the beach.
With this work , the environmental risks associated with the management of civil wastewater will be eliminated , especially linked to the danger of pollution of the aquifers , the Platamona Pond and the coastal strip. We will therefore intervene on the collectors and lifting stations to allow the transfer of wastewater from the coastal area to the consortium purifier, creating a series of new sewerage branches, both under pressure and gravity, and eight lifting stations along the route of the conducted.
