Sofas and armchairs on the street: in via Fiume in Quartu the sidewalk becomes a landfill

The last time it happened was last night: the remains of some sofas and armchairs piled up, occupying the entire sidewalk in front of a real estate agency. But at the beginning of via Fiume in Quartu, just after piazza 4 novembre, the illegal open-air landfill is certainly not a novelty. For years, as reported several times by those who live and work in the area, unsorted or bulky waste has been frequently abandoned in the street .
The episode has been repeating itself for some time, without any resolution. Both the Municipality of Quartu and De Vizia have been informed of the situation, with the police also carrying out surveys. But the problem continues and what has happened in the last few hours is a new testimony of how - evidently - there are those who use that area of the road as if it were a landfill.
