Inconveniences are occurring in Siurgus Donigala due to the temporary absence of the GP due to Dr. Marongiu's illness. While a replacement is being identified or the Extraordinary Territorial Continuity Clinic (ASCOT) is activated, the Local Health Authority (ASL) has implemented some temporary solutions to ensure care for residents. Residents can contact the Mandas emergency medical service from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM . During daytime hours, the Senorbì outpatient clinic is available Monday through Friday, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Residents must bring their health card and any medical documentation they have, including any certifications or exemptions.

The situation has caused concern and disruption in the community. "I cannot deny the dismay expressed by the entire community," explains Mayor Antonello Perra. "However, we are in constant contact with health authorities, who assure us they will do their utmost to restore normal healthcare services as quickly as possible."

The mayor also emphasized that the municipal administration, together with mayors Umberto Oppus (Mandas) and Terenzio Schirru (Gesico), continues to firmly represent the needs of the area to the relevant health officials, hoping to quickly find a solution to the problem.
