Seals to the old Eden Beach hotel , the imposing unfinished structure built over thirty years ago on the coast of Platamona, in the municipality of Sorso. This morning the carabinieri of the Noe of Sassari, at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office, placed the area overlooking the provincial road 81 under preventive seizure , a dilapidated building with unsafe walls that never came into operation.

The property is owned by the Hotel Eden Beach srl , a company now closed due to ceased activity, with registered office in Sassari.

The military cordoned off the entire area with red and white tape to prevent entry into the building at risk of collapse , with hazardous and non-hazardous special waste inside, which has become a place of shelter for some non-EU citizens.

The intervention of the carabinieri is part of the maxi operation "Sardegna Bella" , an investigative project against eco-monsters, abandoned and unfinished structures present on the entire coast of Northern Sardinia, a plan conceived by the Noe of Sassari and approved by the command of Rome and by the Ministry of the Environment.
