The Thanksgiving celebration took place on Saturday in the parish of Sant'Isidoro and this evening in the parish church of Santa Barbara, with the people of the fields who brought the fruits of the earth to the altar at the end of the agricultural season, this year marked by drought and a deep crisis.

Today in the crowded parish church the mass was celebrated by the parish priest, Father Gabriele Biccai, who reiterated the need to return to the fields, inviting especially young people to fall in love with this work, to contribute to the protection of the land, which must be respected and not mistreated. Because, Father Gabriele reiterated, God created the land for man. A land that knows how to provide work, that unites and that gives hope and love. Hence the delivery of gifts.

On Saturday, the Thanksgiving celebration took place in the church of the parish of Sant'Isidoro with the sermon of Don Sandro Piludu and the delivery of the gifts of the land and the flocks: wheat, wine, potatoes, legumes, bread, oil, cheese. Grains of wheat were delivered to the faithful with the invitation to sow them at home even in a vase as a sign of hope, of relaunching a sector, today in crisis.
