Arson was behind the fire that devastated an office in Siniscola , on Via Nuoro, during the night between Thursday and Friday. The focus is on City Councilor Antonello Fadda, as confirmed by Mayor Gian Luigi Farris in a statement, which reads: "Good morning everyone, after a night that was anything but good. Especially for the family of our Councilor Antonello Fadda, who late yesterday evening suffered an arson attack in his offices across from the Church of the Rosary."

"I can't tell you anything more," Farris adds, "and I couldn't for obvious reasons. Investigators are working to understand, identify, and hopefully bring the culprits to justice as soon as possible. As the leader of this community, I can only tell you how saddened and concerned I am by this incident. But I can and want to reiterate what I said recently in the face of still-smoldering flames: we will not accept this trend."

"We will not stand by idly and watch this devastation," the mayor continued, "and we will not return to our homes resignedly. The people of Siniscola will not accept that a few criminals disrupt and disrupt the life of an entire community. To the Fadda family," Farris concluded, "I wish to express my solidarity and support, along with that of the entire council."
