In the center of Siliqua, a landfill of bottles filled with urine has reappeared. About one hundred plastic containers, and some bags of faeces, were left on the fence wall of the parking lot in via Vittorino da Feltre. A disconcerting fact for the country, and a nightmare for the residents of the area, which is happening for the third time in just eight months.

The story, for which it has not yet been possible to identify those responsible, took place taking advantage of last night's darkness. The place chosen is the same, even if the other two times, one hundred bottles the first and fifty the second, were abandoned on the asphalt, but always a few tens of meters from the town hall . Perhaps a senseless and incomprehensible form of protest, or a worrying sign of social unease, which must necessarily be dealt with.

"For the third time in less than a year we find ourselves having to face a situation of abandonment of liquid waste, a symptom of degradation, poor civic sense and lack of respect for the community", declares the mayor Francesca Atzori: "Strengthened by the unpleasant experiences previous ones, this time we can count on the footage from the surveillance cameras, which are being examined by the local police and the carabinieri for checks on the case, also in order to ascertain the reasons for such gestures. The municipal administration has promptly activated, through a specialized company, to provide for the removal and disposal of waste, which will take place in the shortest possible time ".

Helga Bachis, minority group leader of “Siamo Siliqua” also intervenes on the matter: «We have forwarded several questions and brought this serious problem of public hygiene, which has been going on since October last year, to the attention of the City Council. We asked if the contents of the bottles had been analyzed and, in response to the last question, the mayor had confirmed the contents, that is, waste from the human body. The problem is not solved because upstream there is probably a situation of very serious social hardship, which is not addressed. At this point we ask, as a minority, that the ASL and the prefect intervene ».
