A hailstorm hit Pimentel, flooding Highway 128 near the Samatzai junction. This is just one of the many storms currently affecting the island.

Some storms affected the mountains of Nuoro, the town of Ussassai, in Ogliastra, and the mountains near Capoterra, with lightning and, at times, strong gusts of wind.

A large pine tree fell onto Provincial Road 5 near Senorbì, causing a collision between two cars. One person was injured. The Cagliari Fire Department responded to the scene, securing the area and clearing the roadway by cutting down the tree.
