Seventh, a herd of wild boars roams the countryside searching for water and food.

Desperate for water and food, wild boars are invading the outskirts of Settimo San Pietro, with packs roaming even in broad daylight.

This is what happened this morning when a pensioner spotted and filmed about ten of them: they move mainly near vegetable gardens, but also vineyards, "sucking" the grapes and digging into the soil, especially in irrigated areas, in search not only of food, but also of water.

This isn't the first time it's happened. In fact, wild boars have been leaving the pine forest and surrounding hills for years, invading the countryside not only of Settimo but also of Sinnai.

In recent weeks, several packs have been spotted, photographed, and filmed right next to the last houses in the "Baccu Narboni" district and near the old cemetery.

A phenomenon that, still in the Sinnai area, is affecting the countryside even kilometers away from the town, such as the cultivated area of "Pran'e Sili".
