Great anticipation in Settimo San Pietro, in the nearby towns and in the Cagliari area for the Nomadi concert scheduled today in via 1° maggio, at Parco degli Ulivi, starting at 9:30 pm. An evening desired by the Municipality with an extraordinary band born in 1963, which immediately achieved extraordinary success, climbing to the top of all the Italian charts and beyond, also participating in the Sanremo Festival.

The origins are from the keyboard player Beppe Carletti who with his friends formed the group " Monelli". Two years later, with the arrival of the singer Augusto Daolio, the Nomadi were born who in 1966 were enriched by the collaboration of Francesco Guccini. Then the great successes also at an international level with " Io vagabondo" , whose 45 rpm managed to sell over a million copies, "Io voglio vivere", "Crescerai" and many others.

As mentioned, tonight's event is highly anticipated. Via 1° Maggio will be closed until 12:00 tomorrow for the setting up and dismantling of the stage. There are alternative routes to bypass the road, in particular Via Alagon (until 18:00 today) and the town center (Via San Salvatore, Via Gramsci and Via Stazione).

In a note , the Municipality renews the invitation to the citizens of Settimo to walk to the concert area . This invitation obviously does not apply to the elderly, sick or those with walking difficulties. Some parking areas have been identified both near the concert area and further outside.

Before and during the concert, the mayoral ordinance on the ban on the use of glass and cans for drinks is in force . And then a recommendation for maximum respect for the place and the environment, in particular the Sa Terra de sa Cresia park, the games and everything that represents public and private property.
