Settimo, businessman Sandro Cocco dies after being burned in the face by an oxyacetylene torch.

Sandro Cocco, a 65-year-old businessman from Settimo San Pietro, died at dawn this morning in the burns center of the Sassari hospital. He was burned yesterday morning while carrying out work on the balcony of a house under construction in Villasimius .

Probably taken ill, the man was hit by the blowtorch, causing very serious burns to his face and other parts of his body.

Death in hospital at dawn today.
