Sestu, Emanuele and Micaela get married: they choose their dogs as page boys and witnesses

A very special wedding, at Casa Ofelia in Sestu, a few days ago. In fact, the spouses wanted their dogs alongside their friends and relatives . Emanuele Serrau, 27, and Micaela Meloni, 25, said yes a few days ago, and wanted 8-year-old Thor, a half-breed, to act as their page boy, who brought them the wedding rings tied to his collar ; and the collies Ikaris and Lilybeth, 3 and 2 years old, to enter together with the witnesses .

A civil wedding, officiated by the Sports and Social Councilor Mario Alberto Serrau, also with his dog, Nutella. " They are part of the family like our children ", says Emanuele, and Micaela continues, "for what we give them and for what they give to us".

The couple also works with dogs. In fact, they founded “Hakuna Matata Agility Team”, an amateur sports association. They participate in Dog Agility competitions with collies, and train other dogs. «We want to thank Laura Vicentini, founding member of our association; he helped us prepare the dogs for the ceremony as we wouldn't have been able to dedicate our attention to them at that moment."
